How It Works

Step 1 — Twist It On: Screw the HydroHub onto your outdoor spigot by hand. It takes about 5 seconds — no tools, no plumber.

Step 2 — Connect Your Hose: Attach your garden hose to the pivoting side outlet. The 180° pivot and 360° rotation let it move with you, so no more twisting or kinking.

Step 3 — Pick Your Setting: Turn the dial for a steady stream (fill buckets fast), a gentle shower (rinse hands, feet, pets, and delicate plants), or full hose flow.

Step 4 — Wash Up Anytime: Rinse off right at the spigot without ever unscrewing your hose. Clean hands, clean feet — no dirty footprints inside.

Will It Fit My Spigot?

The Trovely HydroHub fits the standard ¾" threaded outdoor spigot found on the vast majority of US homes, and connects to any standard garden hose.

Pro tip for a perfect seal: a quick wrap of plumber's tape (a few cents at any hardware store) on older or worn spigot threads guarantees a drip-free fit.

Good to know: the HydroHub is designed for spigots that point downward or at an angle. If yours points straight out horizontally, the faucet outlet will spray outward rather than straight down — an inexpensive angled adapter solves this.

Is It Durable?

The Trovely HydroHub is made from impact-resistant, UV-stabilized polymer with rubber-sealed connections — light enough to never strain your spigot, tough enough for season after season of daily use.

One winter tip: like any outdoor fitting, unscrew it and store it inside before hard freezes to keep the seals in top shape for spring.

No More Dirty Footprints In The House.

You know the routine. Hands covered in soil, shoes caked in mud — and the only way to get plain water is to unscrew the hose, wrestle the spigot, and drip your way to the back door anyway. The HydroHub ends it. Twist the dial to the gentle shower setting and rinse your hands, feet, tools, or sandy kids right there at the spigot — while your hose stays connected. Steady stream, gentle shower, or full flow: one dial, every job. The garden stays outside. Finally.

On Your Spigot In 5 Seconds. Seriously.

No plumber. No tools. No watching a 20-minute YouTube tutorial. The HydroHub twists onto any standard ¾" outdoor spigot by hand — snug, sealed, done. Connect your hose to the side outlet and you've just given your house the outdoor faucet upgrade it should have come with. Renters, this one's removable, so it moves when you do.

Real Backyards. Real Mud. Real Relief.

Got Questions?

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about the Trovely HydroHub.

The Product

What exactly is the Trovely HydroHub?

It's a multi-function connector that twists onto your outdoor spigot and gives it two outlets at once: a pivoting side connection for your garden hose, plus a built-in mini-faucet with three settings — steady stream, gentle shower, and full flow. In short: your hose stays connected, and you still get tap water whenever you want it.

What does it actually do for me?

It ends the most annoying ritual in your yard: unscrewing the hose every time you need plain water. Rinse muddy hands and feet, wash the dog, fill buckets and watering cans, hose off tools — right at the spigot, while your hose stays hooked up. The gentle shower setting means you rinse off outside, so the mud never makes it into the house.

How is this different from a $10 hose splitter?

A Y-splitter just gives you two hose threads — if you want to rinse your hands, you're still spraying yourself with an open valve. The HydroHub is a splitter and a real faucet in one: the 3-setting dial gives you a controlled stream for filling and a gentle shower for washing up, and the 180° pivot + 360° rotation stop your hose from twisting and kinking at the spigot. It's the difference between splitting your water and actually upgrading your spigot.

Who is it for?

Gardeners who wash their hands a dozen times a session. Parents tired of muddy footprints. Dog owners who need a rinse station. Beach, lake, and pool households with sandy feet at the door. And anyone whose hose is永 permanently at war with the spigot. If you have an outdoor tap and use it more than once a week, this is for you — and because it installs tool-free and removes in seconds, renters can use it too.

Water Flow & Performance

Will it leak?

Sealed rubber washers at every connection keep it drip-free when hand-tightened onto clean threads. Our best tip: if your spigot is older or its threads are worn, a quick wrap of plumber's tape (a few cents at any hardware store) guarantees a perfect seal. And if you get a unit that leaks no matter what, that's exactly what our 30-day guarantee is for — we'll make it right.

Does it reduce water pressure to my hose?

No — with the dial set to hose flow, water passes straight through at full pressure, so sprinklers, nozzles, and pressure washer feeds work exactly as before. The stream and shower settings are intentionally gentler; that's what makes them comfortable for hands, pets, and delicate seedlings.

Can I run the hose and the faucet at the same time?

The dial directs water to one outlet at a time — hose flow, stream, or shower. Switching between them takes a half-second twist, no unscrewing anything. So while both don't run simultaneously, you get instant access to either one, which is the whole point: no more disconnecting your hose just to fill a bucket.

Is it durable? It looks like plastic.

It is engineered polymer — and that's deliberate. It's impact-resistant and UV-stabilized, it never rusts or corrodes like metal fittings, and it's light enough that it won't strain or sag your spigot the way heavy brass manifolds can. Hand-tighten only (no wrenches needed), bring it inside before hard freezes, and it'll serve season after season. If it ever fails on you, our 30-day guarantee has your back.

Fit, Install & Care

Will it fit my spigot?

The HydroHub fits the standard ¾" threaded outdoor spigot (GHT) found on the vast majority of US homes, and connects to any standard garden hose. If your home has an unusual or non-threaded tap (rare, but they exist on some older houses), it won't fit — check that your current hose screws directly onto your spigot; if it does, the HydroHub will too.

My spigot points straight out (horizontal). Will it still work?

Honest answer: the HydroHub is designed for spigots that point downward or at an angle — that's what lets the faucet outlet pour straight down for hand-washing and bucket-filling. On a fully horizontal spigot, the faucet outlet will spray outward instead of down. The fix is an inexpensive angled spigot adapter (a few dollars at any hardware store) between your tap and the HydroHub. We'd rather tell you this now than have you find out later.

How do I install it?

Twist it onto your spigot by hand — about 5 seconds, no tools. Screw your garden hose onto the side outlet, and you're done. Hand-tight is all it needs; there's nothing to wrench, mount, or plumb. If you can screw on a garden hose, you can install a HydroHub.

What about winter?

Treat it like your hose: before hard freezes, unscrew it, let it drain, and store it inside (garage or shed is fine). Water expanding as ice is what damages any outdoor fitting — brass or plastic — so this one habit keeps the seals and dial in perfect shape for spring. Reinstalling takes the same 5 seconds.

The Backyards HydroHub Made Easier

From garden moms to beach-house hosts — here's what households are saying.

★★★★★

"If you're like me and wash your hands twenty times while gardening, this is it. I used to unscrew the hose every single time or just wipe dirt on my jeans. Now I twist the dial and rinse right there. Quality of life upgrade, one hundred percent."

Karen M.Tampa, FL
★★★★★

"My hose was permanently kinked at the spigot no matter what I did. The rotating head fixed it completely — the hose just follows me around the yard now. And I can fill my car-wash bucket without disconnecting anything. Should've been invented decades ago."

Daniel K.Chicago, IL
★★★★★

"I'm 68 and done fussing with tools. This twisted on in literally five seconds — even I could do it. No plumber, no bending, no wrench. The knob turns easy with one hand, which matters when your fingers don't cooperate like they used to."

Marcus T.Tucson, AZ
★★★★★

"Two golden retrievers who find every puddle in the county. The gentle shower setting is perfect for paws and bellies — no more blasting them with the open spigot or dragging them to the bathtub. They actually stand still for it now."

Priya S.San Jose, CA
★★★★★

"I fill watering cans about six times every morning for my raised beds. Unscrewing the hose each time was driving me insane. Now it's twist, fill, done — hose never comes off. Such a simple thing but it genuinely changed my morning routine."

Tiffany W.Nashville, TN
★★★★★

"The shower setting is gentle enough for my seedlings, which surprised me. I water the delicate stuff right at the potting bench next to the spigot and save the hose for the lawn. Pressure on the hose side is full strength, no drop at all."

Olivia C.Raleigh, NC
★★★★★

"Renting a duplex so I can't change any plumbing. This needed zero tools and comes off in seconds when I move out. Landlord-proof upgrade. My little patio garden setup finally works the way I want it to."

Lauren P.Atlanta, GA
★★★★★

"Every weekend project ends the same way: muddy shovels, concrete dust, grimy hands. I used to hose everything down awkwardly with my thumb over the end. Now the tools get the stream setting and my hands get the shower. Ten out of ten, no notes."

Kevin H.Boise, ID
★★★★★

"Sprinkler running out front, and I can still fill a bucket to wash the car without shutting anything down or unscrewing the hose. Switching between them is a half-second twist. This is what I wanted a splitter to be and never got."

James R.Minneapolis, MN
★★★★★

"Bought one for my mom who gardens daily, and she called me twice in the first week to say how much she loves it. She can rinse everything without disconnecting the hose. Ordered a second one for my own house before her second phone call ended."

Alicia V.Tampa, FL
★★★★★

"Was worried about plastic, I'll admit it. Full season of daily use later: no cracks, no leaks, dial still turns smooth. It's lighter than the brass monster it replaced, which my old spigot appreciates. Bringing it in for winter like they say and expecting years out of it."

Christina M.Las Vegas, NV
★★★★★

"Backyard chickens means filling waterers twice a day, every day. The stream setting fills them fast without me wrestling the hose off the spigot each time. Small thing? Sure. But it's a small thing I did 700 times a year the hard way."

Ryan D.Charlotte, NC
★★★★★

"I never knew something like this existed and now I genuinely can't imagine the garden without it. It's one of those products where you use it once and go — how have I managed without this? Everyone I show it to asks where I got it."

Natalie G.Phoenix, AZ
